Horsing around

My boy G is down for the weekend, the weather here has been really crap but I took the chance and arranged a meet with my sis and the kids tubs and monkey at Wiken Fen.

We took one of the shorter walks, stopping off to have a look in the bird hides. At the end we went looking for the Konik Ponies that roam wild around the fenland. My sis has only really seen them from afar, today we were in for a treat. They were really close with one of the foals near the fence.

One of the smaller foals had also got separated from the group, we then watched as a stallion and several females all came to collect the foal with the male stallion rounding up all the horses.
