A Model Day

Today I run my first Level 3 Advanced Photography class - I have been planning it for a while and always had an idea of what I wanted to cover in it. This was a class for those that understand how to use a camera effectively (in terms of exposure) and were learning the practical techniques of shooting people on location with the use of natural light, reflectors and then flash. Most people that I have met before struggle with using flash guns, so I try to simplify it for them during this course.

We had 2 models at different times - the girl in todays Blip was in the morning, then we had another lady in the afternoon with her two doggies.

It was a fantastic day, where the students felt as if they picked up a lot of informative, practical advice and got some cracking shots!

I left the venue buzzing - it was just a great day and another affirmation that this is what I am meant to be doing!!!

The evening was originally planned as a quiet one - but we took a camera up to Steve's Uncle - we were there for 7 hours drinking and chatting - great! I love unplanned evenings - and think this is what I needed - otherwise I would have sat and edited for hours!!

Hoorah for Bank Holidays!
