If you go down to the woods tonight...

Had a wonderful walk this morning in the woods around Nymans, a National Trust property in Sussex. Lots of bluebells, and lots of mud.

In the middle is this property, Woodlands Cottage, which you can rent from the Trust. The blurb says: 'The cottage is quite isolated within the woods and the nearest properties are some distance away. It gets very dark at night and consequently is not recommended for those of a nervous disposition.'

It goes on to say that as it's a working wood, there are people around in the day with chainsaws etc. All of a sudden we had visions of films like The Cabin In the Woods, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre etc.

As we walked past we saw a couple packing up their car after their stay. But who knows how many people started out on the trip.......
