Here's a solar cell and a small wind turbine powering... a natural gas platform. Yup, renewable energy powering a fossil-fuel collecting system. Ironic.

This week, I'm working with fisheries. We seined (dragged a net through to catch fish) a creek, Muddy Creek, which was aptly named. I saw some neat fish and I'm starting to learn to identify them.

Maybe next week I'll have time to learn ArcGIS.
