WHITE ON GREEN

Today was a bad day for us. The wife[ELAINE] woke to find she had some stomach
pains. To see a doctor on a Saturday is not as easy as used to be. You have to phone
N.H.S.24 .After some questions , they phone back in a hour. Then you speak to someone else the same questions as you did earlier. Then if they think it is worth it ,they make a appointment at the local hospital. To see a doctor is free but you have to make your own way to the hospital. This would have cost twenty five pounds ,there and back in a taxi. Luckily the neighbor drove us over , he would have waited but we told him to go as we did not know how long we would be.
We were lucky again ,as we only waited half a hour. We phoned for a taxi,to find it was a old friend that I used to work beside. He was only interested in my B.G. TALENT adventure, and only charged ten pounds to go home. My wife got tablets to take over the next week ,and will make a big difference.The bowling green is the BAINFIELD ,The biggest bowling green indoor club in EDINBURGH. Once used
for the commonwealth games.
