On a cold beach

Went to a kids party on Embleton Beach today. It's the coldest start to May for seventy years so I doubt we'd have still headed out if hadn't been for a birthday celebration. It's a good 60 minutes drive from Newcastle and it was cold, cold, cold. We had a good time though and the chocolate cake was very delicious.
