Newcastle United lost by 2 goals to nil against Manchester City in the last home match of the season. Man City are top of the League so it was always going to be a tough match.

After the match the team and manager did a lap of honour to thank the fans for their support.

It's still all to play for on the final day but now only victory against Everton at Goodison could see us finish in the top four and then only if results for other teams go our way.

Off to Whitby tomorrow for the day on a coach trip. Have a feeling its going to be a cold wet day so I had better wrap up warm and take a brolly.
