Weeping Elm
Unusual trees and plants often figure in the private gardens of keen horticulturists.
And you do not often get a chance to see them unless the owners are members of the Scotland Garden Scheme and open to the public on a set day each year for charity.
So this afternoon I was pleased to see this striking
weeping elm a feature in John and Lesley Stein's garden in Stirling.
Richard and Rachel Nunn, newcomers to the scheme, welcomed visitors to their town garden too where the six chickens were a talking point along with displays of driftwood sculpture.
