I love daddy

Lovely day today - 2 naps, swimming and a walk in the sunshine!

Neil still isn't feeling very well so I went swimming with Henry for the first time. For once he didn't have a cold so was allowed under the water - I was scared that I would accidentally drop or drown him but we both had a lot of fun.

This afternoon Henry has been quite clingy (possibly new teeth) so we've spent a lot of time reading "that's not my puppy" and "that's not my kitten" on the sofa. He immediately starts stroking the textured parts when you turn the page now - it's amazing how quickly he's learning things. They have commented at nursery how much he enjoys the books - I thought he was just chewing them but he likes turning the pages and looking at the pictures too. I want to get him interested in books and able to sit down and concentrate on a story, I was a real book worm as a child and would love to share that with him.

Today's blip is Neil and Henry playing musical noses - we make a beeping noise whenever he touches our noses and he finds it funny - proper chucking tonight!
