The National Film School of Denmark

My film business was a side job until now as filmmakers in Iceland founded their own union, FK, and we talked to the MP's about a Film Fund. Two of the MP's were former schoolmates of mine.
FK was invited to Norway to meet filmmakers from the Nordic countries and learn about their film funds in the autumn of 1978. FK had no money, but my wife worked at a travel agency and we got air tickets for a fair price - so the wife and I vent to the meeting.
A teacher from the danish film school was at the meeting and asked if we would like to visit the school as he knew we were going to Copenhagen after the meeting.
When we had done so he asked if I was interested to attend the school and told us it was free - because old laws since Iceland was a colony of Denmark said that Icelanders had all the same rights in Denmark as the Danish people.
A friend of ours who lived in Denmark was willing to lend me his apartment for free as he was travelling a lot and a good thing someone was there.

The pictures: A birds eye view of the (old) school from Google Earth. We were 18 students and worked two to six together and I mostly worked with these four. I am lying in the snow filming a dog's grave in a dog cemetery. This was our documentary, Hundeliv - A Dog's Life, and we filmed it in a dog's head height, Carsten is directing and Lilian is the best boy. This was the coldest winter in Denmark as far as some of them knew.
On the other side is Iben and Lizzie (pregnant) at the editing bench and below is Prince Henrik visiting the Kastellet in Copenhagen - our News of the day, I was directing and we exchanged a few words.
