Christiania - 40 Years

In fact, it was in 1971 that this former military base was occupied by some well meaning hippies. This huge area is now home to a huge commune with it's own rules which include the open sale and use of cannabis. And the not so free use of cameras. Well away from "Pusher Street" and the free live concert (that sounded pretty good) I sat by the lake and watched this boat for a while. When I finally got it in focus I came home. A pleasant sunday with homemade chicken tikka masala for supper and crap TV.
