Late autumn afternoon Lake Tennyson NZ

Been away 3 days on the photography trip. Today we drove up into the back country, on a beautiful sunny day. Have been here when it was so windy you could hardly stand, and it was grey and bleak, but today was glorious.

The lake is about 45kms from Hanmer, a small resort town with natural hot spring baths, and is an outdoor mecca for trampers, walkers, horse riders, mountain bikers, and fishers, and of course photographers!
