Supermoon

On the way back from the beach we wondered why there were loads of photographers at McMahons Point, all looking towards the bridge and Opera House.

When I asked one of them why they were all there, he "patiently" explained that it was a supermoon tonight.
So we thought we'd stick around and see what the fuss was about, amazing, 5 minutes later we saw the moon come up over the horizon, unfortunately this was the best shot I could get, despite putting new batteries in the camera this morning they ran out just after this one was taken.

So, another day when my favourite wave and surf shots get shelved !
