Young Eagle
"Buddy" hatched at the Norfolk Botanical Garden in 2007. Because of an avian disease, his beak grew crooked, and he has been cared for in a wildlife rehab facility. If he were released into the wild, his beak would grow so misshapen that eventually his mouth could not open, and he would starve. He seems to be well cared for, and is a quite a celebrity when he comes back to visit the Garden.
