Nothing left but sparkles.

The sparkles are from the silver foil that had been wrapped round little chocolate eggs which had different fillings.
They were yummy. I finished them off today.

I rang the hospital about my friend and they said that the consultant has seen him and they are continuing to feed him via his nose until his oesophagus has healed. I asked if it was the sort of thing that could heal itself as I was imagining him having to have another operation and the nurse told me that it is possible to heal by itself.

He has a drain in his side draining away the fluids that had leaked into his chest cavity when drinking a cup of tea and anything else he'd had before going in.

I don't mind them keeping hold of him now because they will be able to watch him like I wouldn't have been able to and they'll be feeding him better than he'd probably have fed himself as he has had digestion problems over the years.

I am hoping that he will put on some weight while in there, grow stronger and heal himself.
