Pergola and Honey Locust

That is a welcome sight. Not the rain; it's been raining too flippin much for my taste but it's probably normal. No, what is a welcome sight is the rain just sliding off the newly stained pergola as effortlessly as stupid, crude remarks seem to roll off of Rush Limbaugh's tongue.

My new found lack of phlegminess caused great joy and a short burst of energy which inspired me to work on the rebuilding of the water feature. There was also enough time before the rain to pop some dandelions out of the lawn by hand. It was going great until the two visiting neighbor munchkins decided they wanted to help and a fight over the tools ensued. It doesn't go nearly as fast if you have to make sure everyone gets a chance to poke, pop, pull, throw in the bucket and tamp down the hole left behind. Why are siblings so competitive?
