Taken walking to town to meet up with a Croatian visitor. It is satisfying to take a photo of what the mind observes rather than just what the camera steals.

We all had a nice lunch - of red mullet in my case - then went to see Love's Labours Lost, which is really just a long succession of jokes, some of which are rather ribald. Northern Broadsides made the best of it and also had some nice serious moments - mainly musical.

Then home to watch the second half of Polanski's Macbeth. Which is rather different in tone.

And that is probably enough of the Bard for one day. Tomorrow is reserved for fresh air. Let's hope the promise of sun is not rescinded by the morning.
