Eduardo Paolozzi, Euston

I walk past this installation a lot.

It always strikes me.

Is it some futuristic monastery on a remote mountain top? I don't know.

The texture is wonderful and the lines give a sense of speed or at least motion.

The work is by Eduardo Paolozzi and it is found at Euston Square, a particularly ugly part of London.

Paolozzi, I think, was also responsible for the Newton outside the British Museum.
