Rou-cou spoke the dove...

...like the sooth lord of sorrow,
Of sooth love and sorrow,
And a hail-bow, hail-bow,
To this morrow.

Here's a Wood Pigeon I've been trying to get a picture of for days. It lands in the garden with its mate, collecting twigs - they're making a nest somewhere nearby. In medieval times they were known as 'Ring Doves'. I love the way they follow and mirror each other. I'm hoping to get a picture of the pair.

They mate for life.
