A weekend in Kos

We got up nice and early to catch the 9.30 ferry from Bodrum to Kos island (Cos to you guys!). We were a little concerned that Ali wouldn't get through passport control as he only has 2 weeks left on his passport (really must deal with that). Thankfully it was fine, and we set sail. We've had a pleasant day wandering around. After a couple of hours rest we headed out in a hire car to find the thermal springs that we'd been told about. After nearly driving the car off a cliff, due to a road that suddenly stopped, we found where we were supposed to be. It involved walking down a pretty steep hill. When we got to the bottom and onto the stony beach, to say we were underwhelmed would be an understatement! The boys were saying repeatedly "is that it!!". It looked like a muddy puddle, complete with a few brave tourists. We did stick our feet in, and it was really warm, but still not worth the walk back up the hill!
