The shortbread dresser

Went to visit two ladies today who are in the process of preparing to launch Cranachan and Crowdie, soon to occupy a place in the Canongate section of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh. You'll find them Tweeting as @scottishfoodies.

They are so enthusiastic about the venture, and I wish them well.

They showed me round the shop and I was taken with the idea that they intend to fill this dresser with a display of shortbread.

The visit was prompted by the fact that they will also stock food from The Canny Cook, who were at Crail Food Festival last year. So it would be good for our guests at Craigwell Cottage to recommend as a place to pick up good quality Scottish sourced frozen food.
