Peewit, Lapwing or Green Plover

This in a bird in decline these days. Numbers have fallen fairly dramatically so I was very pleased to see this wee chappie and at least two others in a field between Lake of Menteith and Arnprior.
I was going to post a big fat cock pheasant but this one won out.
I also thought of waiting until later and doing a moon-blip but suspect we are going to cloud over and anyway, there will be loads of them.
Off to a birthday party tomorrow so there may just be a bliportunity or two there!
