Brothers Meeting for the First Time

Another photo taken by husband. I took a few shots today but this one felt far to precious not to be blipped :) I love how proud Boo is to finally meet little Bashy. He is a little confused though that his brother is not an instant play-mate, but is so so very lovely and gentle with him.

Yesterday's photo was the last ever taken on my 50mm. Husband quite spectacularly dropped my camera and smashed the lens right after it was taken. All I will say is this; the best possible timing for smashing a woman's favourite lens is a few seconds after she has given birth with a brand new squishy baby resting on her chest! He received an instant pardon - just minutes earlier the same crime would have provoked a very different response! Thank-you thank-you to our (very trusting!) friend who had loaned us another 50mm by midnight :) I say trusting because husband opened the conversation with something like "hi, yes we've just had our baby - I then dropped the camera and smashed my wife's lens to pieces, can I borrow yours please?!". I can assure said friend that it will be returned shortly and in one piece - THANK-YOU! :)
