Walk in the park

I'd got a lift in to Glasgow and was dropped off at Charing Cross. As I was a bit early I meandered to work going down streets I hadn't seen for a long time. Cutting through Kelvingrove Park to the university I could have been in the middle of the countryside (well a well manicured bit of countryside anyway) and felt a million miles away from the bustle of Charing X with the rush hour M8 cutting through it.
