A toast....

My friend came round last night. Unannounced.
He said, he'd seen me earlier in the day when he'd cycled past and thought I looked sad.

In his hands a bottle of pink wine, a bar of my favourite green and blacks - dark chocolate and cranberry, and a punnet of strawberries.

He poured me a glass (and dropped a strawberry in it!), ordered me to eat some chocolate, (probably not the best idea on a six-day empty stomach!), proffered his arms for a bear hug, made me laugh (a lot), and then prescribed me an early night!

I think that might be the definition of
friendship!

I have also been blown away by your support and care in your comments this week. It has been such a hard week, and I'm sure when it less sensitive I'll share some details, but a link posted on my comments yesterday by Col Pepper made me smile....cry...then smile again.
