Goodbye Buddy

Today was a sad day, as we had to put our Doberman cross Rotti down. We had Buddy for seven wonderful years and was such a gentle giant. He was great with the kids and was very good at snoring out both ends! Just recently he had trouble walking and wouldn't eat, an ultrasound found a very large tumour through his liver and stomach. The only humane thing to do was put him down, which doesn't make it an easier to do. So thanks Buddy for being a great family member, for always being by our sides and for giving us many great memories...now chewing bones up in the sky!
