*Doh*a

A rather splendid 5* hotel (in the picture background) kind of made up for the inconvenience of the missed connection. Qatar airlines computer system at Heathrow had failed - leading to hand written everything and a 2 hour delay. Delhi disappeared into future tense.

Added to that - my bags that I'd asked to be forwarded arrived one hour before the 2 hour checkin time for the next evenings flight. Nice.

Nice people though - an internet connection to dropbox the rest of my Sister's wedding photos off my camera - and a huge menu for meals including a massive fruit salad with Rambutan & Mangosteen (out of the display) that were especially fine. The arabic foods were most vegan and usually contained olive oil rather than corn oil.

A frustrating day, calmed slightly by annoying air conditioning and a splendid set of baths & showers - battling the relentless heat of the real world outside.

The delays expected between Newquay and Naggar were expected nearer the SW coast of the UK than Qatar
