Shade in the Desert

I must just say that my photos are absolutely rubish at the moment, when I actually take one. The heat here in the desert is just too much for me and I hide away in my flat all day, needless to say I am going demented. You can't even open the windows anymore as the hot air then just rushes in. Summer is bleak here. The sun is now white and there's no colour as the sun beats down every day. On weekends we go and spend a few hours on the beach and luckily we have a little umbrella, without which we would roast.

Three more months of summer here till we leave to go to the UK and then I'll be complaining of being cold! Well off to SA on Thursday to share some of their winter - nice winter temps of 25! I can handle those and there'll be nice blue skies and fantastic winter sunsets so maybe I'll be inspired to take some photos.
