Incoming

I don't think I will ever tire of this view. Its 10 minutes walk to the river from here and even when its pissing with rain and howling a gale, I still love looking at the river. Its always different.

Tonight it was spectacular. Not a cloud in the sky and the early evening sun gave deep rich blues reflected off the river. Just amazing.

Not that you can tell the airline from this shot, but here's a Ryan Air flight coming in to land at Liverpool Airport. This approach to Liverpool is unusual, but I guess that the absence of wind means the planes can just come in the short route (which this is). To have been a passenger on that plane tonight would have been something special.
