Eye spy !

Regular checkup for No3 at the optician.

When we found out she needed glasses last year it was quite a shock. The other 2 have perfect vision, thankfully - and it turned out that No 3 has very poor vision. I felt very bad that I hadn't spotted this myself.

Thankfully they have caught it early and if she wears her glasses all the time (which she does - bless !) she will gradually need a smaller prescription lens as she gets older.

The other 2 were jealous - glasses are very trendy these days - not like the pink and blue NHS lenses that were the only thing available in my day!

Today's visit was just a checkup and all going to plan. We let her pick a new spare pair which we have arranged to be used also as sun glasses. She picked bright PINK frames !

Amazing how you take good eyesight for granted (although I am as old as methusila and need glasses for reading and blips and threading needles and reading prices and cooking instructions and.....everthing else!)
