Cucumber

Today has been filled with a battle against the laundry piles, both the dirty and the clean. The good news is, I won and I can now find clothes and get in to my wardrobe again.

I sent The Boy up in to the loft to collect the buckets and tarps from when the roof was leaking ready for the insulation guys arriving bright and early tomorrow morning. There was a disturbing amount of water in the buckets. Can it really take that long for water to evaporate? There was also an area with no sarking board, no felt, just slate between us and the outside world. What'll happen if the roof leaks on to loft insulation? More importantly, how am I supposed to get a guy in to look at the damage if the joists are covered in insulation. Oh well, I'm sure it will all be fine.

Busy day, full of cold and lacking in inspiration so here is one of my little cucumber seedlings. These will be staying in the warm window rather than going out in to the cold garden.
