News from the allotment...

aka the bottom of the garden. Finally some of the seeds I planted are beginning to come up - these are the beetroots seedlings and there is now a line of tiny green shoots which will hopefully become carrots! Couldn't get a photo of them though, still a bit too tiny.

I think everything is a bit slower due to the lack of sunshine, it has been raining for ages with only the odd burst of sunshine very occasionally. I think this vegetable growing activity might teach me some patience, I've never had any.

It was good to finally get home tonight, it's been a hectic week with trips to London and Glasgow, plus some awful commutes - hour and a half both ways today, bit over the top for a 26 mile trip. There will be some extreme relaxation going on over the bank holiday weekend...
