Antique Kiln

Li referred to this kiln as an antique. It's a 500 year old dragon kiln in Yixing that is still in operation. It was actually just loaded up and was going to be fired the next day. I think that this one was more amazing that the first one we visited. This one just had more character; it looked like a huge spine running up the hill. They fire the bottom part of the kiln with coal and the top part with wood. In addition to the kiln, I was thought that the walls around it made of clay pots were pretty impressive.
