Bordering on idyllic

After yesterday's weather horrorshow, today was spectacular. After scraping the ice off the windscreen I headed down to Peebles for a spot of fishing. I had the last choice of pitch, in the shade with an overgrown backcast, fortunately the fish didn't realise how bad a pitch it was and I caught my limit before lunchtime. I caught another after lunch (returned) and then headed home early with 141/2 lbs of rainbow trout. Not a bad day out.

Just in case you're interested, they were all on an olive rabbit!
