station to station

am: a walk to Lafayette (above Apt) with fields of barley, lavender and grape vines.

pm: goodbyes to Apt and friends, then a TGV train from Avignon to Lyon (today's blip) and from there to Turin through the Alps.
the Alps are magnificent but i wasn't at the window to take pictures... not that pictures could really do them justice!
