Senorial

I love these rich lobbies of the 'senorial' apartment buildings in Eixample. They certainly achieve their aim of marking the status of the occupants, and are used for visitors to wait in. Only intimates are invited up, usually. Taken in the early hours of this morning on our way back from a very late dinner at the posh Italian, as we call it. On the way out the owner insisted on sitting us down in his private area and discussing all things Brazilian and Italian over a glass or two of grappa!
