Moorhen

While I was wondering what to blip today two moorhens appeared on the pond. One swam away as soon as it saw me, but this one appeared to be unfazed by me and carried on with what it was doing. It appeared to be collecting reeds for a nest, but hopefully it will not build one just there as the water level is likely to go down leaving it stranded.

I have been working today marking student's scripts. Waitrose has delivered the groceries and it will soon be the long weekend. I have to go early today to supervise my grandchildren, Hillview Photography was a bit lax in ordering her shopping and the only slot left was before she gets home from work. I only have to take delivery I do not have to put it all away!

No plans to do anything special this weekend, we tend to stay at home on bank holiday weekends, being semi-retired and working only part-time from home, we can then go out when everyone else has gone back to work. I should be up-to-date with work by the end of today, so I can continue working on family trees although my assignment needs to be started.
