Early Ruhr

The white frosting to the river bank looks like heavy dew or frost, but at 15 C it's neither, merely a very heavy dusting of either pollen or seeds. I would have investigated further but the dumb dog had decided to take advantage of my lack of attention and had scarpered up the bank on the promise of something rotting in the hedgerow.
