Women of Japan
It is really rainy this Golden Week vacation, so it is not so easy to take photos, even if there is a lot of free time now compared to my regular work week!
Today we went to my favourite Shinto shrine in my old neighborhood. Omiya Hachimangu is one of the largest shrines in Tokyo and has beautiful scenery and natural greenery all around.
However, within 30 minutes of us arriving ,the rains came again! So, we ducked in to a dojo of Japanese archery, where they use the traditional long bows.
I took a photo recently of two young women practicing Kendo (sword fighting) in the park, and here I have a photo of young women practicing archery! I love my country :)
