Evening

As I was coming into Nelson the sun was going down behind me so I ducked down to the estuary to see if I could get some colour on the water. Obviously I was a little too late, but this is as good as it gets today.

I grew up in Auckland and next door to us were the H's, next door to them were the V's. We knew their parents as Aunty and Uncle and us kids pretty much grew up in each others houses. Tonight one of the V's is here from Australia and one of the H's is here from Auckland. They and I are staying at my sister's in Nelson for a get-together.

There will be a lot of talking and laughing tonight no doubt.
