Cubs Lose & the debate

Watched the debate today rather than the cubs game (where I was losing bets!).

As most people were, I was waiting for a train wreck... I kind of felt like this had the same feeling as a boxing fight with Mike Tyson when he was in his prime. Everyone was hoping for a big knock down (or more like that Palin will trip and fall out of the ring herself), but this was went to the cards... Bummer... However, unlike Buster Douglas, Palin was not able to pull off a V. Too many boxing references, I know.

I was kind of surprised though that the bar was set so very very low for her and because she didn't go below that it was somewhat of a surprise and even seen as a victory to some. Anyways, it was still interesting to watch and near the beginning I could tell she was a little nervous and stumbled a little, but was able to recover fairly quickly... too bad, I wanted the nervousness to make it a disaster, the comedy would have been priceless.


My blip is of my tv, exciting I know. I thought this image was kind of funny since Palin is the religious type and this looks like something that might be on one of those channels.
