Chef in training

I ate the best pizza tonight that I have ever tasted. The best bit is that my nine year old made it.

She is developing a bit of a love for baking and cooking and to be honest I just leave her to it. We do the oven bit but other than that I leave her to get on with it all. These are some cookies that she also made today. They are really lovely.

It has been another crazy day. Singing lessons with someone I would consider a peer today. I think it went well. I know my stuff but I think I just machine gunned him with information. We are doing a time trade so going next week to learn about recording.

Then my other two lessons. All good.

Another two bookings onto Razzle Dazzle. We are only taking twenty so we are nearly full now. How wonderful is that!

I also have two singing lessons to fit in with a young lad going for an audition.

One of my pupils told me she has entered her school talent competition. Four lessons ago she was too shy to sing in front of me. I can hear a real difference already in her tone, pitch awareness and breathing. I think so much of it is confidence.

Anyway I am officially shattered.

I have been to vote though. Clearly the Tories were not even attempting to bother to try and win a seat as their candidate was shockingly awful in his campaign. Not that I would have voted for him anyway. His leaflet made me giggle a bit though.

The odd thing has been that I live in Birmingham but in the borough of Sandwell. Therefore we have had no choice on the Mayoral vote. Quite a few people have asked me what I think and how I am voting .....

The area that I live in is actually made up of three local authorities, Walsall, Birmingham and Sandwell.

I took my MIL to vote after she had babysat. She forgot her glasses and just ticked any old box. We giggled all the way to her house.
