Glass half...

...full or empty.

I sometimes feel sorry for waiting rooms standing empty, waiting, just waiting for the general great and good public to come make use of them.

And then I get cross at the people for not taking advantage of the resources at their disposal, who wants to sit out in the blooming cold

These waiting rooms are superb, they do not stink of urine (we don't have thosetypes round here dontcha know), nor do they have the remnants of someone's over-indulgence, and they have actual heaters that work.

And thanks be to the brilliance of the Victorian/Edwardian designers and builders who decided on a street & station layout such as they have, the sun never falls directly on the waiting, thus it is nice a cool in that week just before the kids break up from school we call summer
