physics fun!

I have such amazing classes. A couple of my kids decided to build a potato cannon for fun and asked me we could test it out during physics class - and of course I said yes!

It was awesome - although I was a bit terrified at first. You put in the potato, spray some hairspray into the shaft and then light it! The explosion pushes the potato out the cannon! We had a few shots where it went almost 500m!
