Ribwort Plantain

A very common plant but when I read up about it I find that it has many properties. The leaves are edible but said not to be very nice, however it also has medicinal properties and it sounds like a cure all, the list of properties that I found are listed below:

Antibacterial, Antidote, Astringent, Demulcent, Expectorant, Haemostatic, Laxative, Ophthalmic, Poultice.

Makes me wonder why we need to pay a lot of money for modern drugs!
