Ronnie

Ronnie is a local crofter and good friend. I'm not really sure how to do him justice in a few sentences but here goes.

He visits most days for a cup of tea and a chat about what he's been up to. Although in his eighties he is still a full time shepherd and looks after a herd of cattle. As you will know from my other blips we live in a hilly part of the world so this involves tramping up mountains to gather and walking long distances. All this he does virtually single handed and he is a lot fitter than many men half his age!

He is well travelled and full of stories about his exploits and what the Glen was like in the past. A really interesting man.

Ronnie is a real character and my day (and the Glen) would not be the same without him!!
