Coffee Spoons

The Japanese take their cherry blossom very seriously.

In Japan, cherry blossoms are an enduring metaphor for the ephemeral nature of life, an aspect of Japanese cultural tradition that is often associated with Buddhistic influence, and which is embodied in the concept of mono no aware - literally "the pathos of things", a Japanese term used to describe the awareness of impermanence or the transience of things, and a gentle sadness (or wistfulness) at their passing.

The blossom never lasts long so blip it while you can!
