Cinderella

Some of my students practising for an English-speaking competition next weekend. They're doing a 3 minute play showing the end of Cinderella. Pictured from left to right is: Cinderella, narrator, two ugly step-sisters and the step mother. I hope they do well - they're really good.

In other news, any flirtations I had of swimming in the beautiful canals here were abruptly laid to rest today. I took the 'scenic' route home and went past a bloated, floating rat, a few metres downstream from a dead, floating fish. I did also see a live rat nearby so I guess there's hope....
