A walk in the woods

I've not been able to get out much with the camera recently but did take a walk tonight to a local wildlife reserve. In the space of ten minutes I'd seen a deer and a Tawny owl.

We are slowly releasing the hedgehogs but due to the weather it's a bit touch and go as when they can be released. One success was Joplin who came to us at a week old, had got worms through the mother's placenta and was not very well at all. We were 12 hours from losing him. He became very tame for a while and we weren't sure he could be released. Two months outside on his own sorted that fear and he went back to his finder last week.
