Eckersley's Art shop, York Street. I went there to buy one thing, and came out with a whole bunch of completely different things, all of which were very colourful and appealed to the bowerbird in me.

Busy day. Trying to finish up projects at work and get errands sorted before going up to Queensland this weekend. Whenever I go a-visiting, relatives and friends up north give me a list of things they want me to bring up, because there are lots of foodstuffs and whatnot that simply aren't available. Which I'm happy to do, as long as there's room in my portmanteau for my toothbrush and a secret stash of therapy chocolate.***
